The Five Forms of Wealth I’m Building in This Season
Before I asked God for more, I had to become faithful with what was already in my hands.
I still have goals for my income, career and future. But I’m learning to recognize wealth in the parts of my life that help me live well, love well and grow with purpose.
In this season, I’m building five forms of wealth.
1. Faith: Staying Anchored
My relationship with God gives me somewhere to bring my questions, fears and hopes. I’m learning to make space for prayer before allowing the demands of the day to take over.
Some mornings, that means reading a passage of Scripture. Other mornings, it begins with a simple prayer: “Lord, guide me through today.”
2. Time: Giving My Attention a Purpose
Between work, family and creating content, my time can disappear quickly. I’m becoming more intentional about what deserves my attention.
That means setting realistic priorities, following through on commitments and leaving room to rest. Every request does not require an immediate yes.
3. Peace: Protecting What Healing Has Given Me
After difficult seasons, peace becomes something you learn to care for.
I’m practicing boundaries, pausing before reacting and accepting that I cannot resolve every misunderstanding. I can care about people while making thoughtful choices about their access to my life.
4. Health: Caring for the Body That Carried Me
My body has carried me through challenges that deserve compassion.
I’m learning to listen when I need rest, keep up with my care and appreciate progress without demanding perfection. Caring for myself helps me remain present for the people and purposes I love.
5. Gifts: Using What God Placed in My Hands
My voice, creativity and experiences are resources I can develop and share.
I’m building this kind of wealth by writing, encouraging others and creating useful content—even when my schedule is full and the results take time. I want my gifts to serve people while helping me build a sustainable future.
Growing With Intention
Luke 16:10 reminds us of the importance of faithfulness in small things. For me, that starts with everyday choices: making time for God, honoring a boundary, caring for my health and completing the work in front of me.
These are the foundations I want beneath every future opportunity.
